The Best Western Edinburgh City Hotel is near The Grassmarket, an area that has been extensively revitalised over recent years. A vibrant shopping area with bars, coffee houses and eating places, you can walk to the Grassmarket in literaly a few minutes.
The Hotel's public areas were extensively refurbished in late 2005, combining some more contemporary styles, fabrics and funrnishings with the buildings historic traditional aspects.
The entrance to the hotel is tucked away in a pretty courtyard off the side street. Parking is not available at the hotel but this little area is accessible by car and is handy for dropping off. However there is a secure paid undercover car park just a few minutes around the corner.
