By Car:

From the south east: On the A1, A68, A7 or A702, get onto the Edinburgh By Pass A720 and head west to the Lothianburn Junction and the A702 into Edinburgh. From the A703 and A702, you will cross over the By Pass and stay on the A702 into Edinburgh.
Stay on this road A702 and you will later see the Kings Theatre on your right. Keep in right lane at the lights by the Theatre, and towards next lights, then bear up right/straight on, then take 2nd side street on right just before the hotel hotel.

From the West: On M8 and M9 before Edinburgh Airport, at Junction 2 for both Motorways, head toward Edinburgh East on A8, past the airport on the left. At Gogar Roundabout continue east into Edinburgh on A8. Go through a roundabout, PC World in shocking pink on the right, and continue straight on until you come to Haymarket train station and traffic lights. Keep in right lane through lights, then in 2nd lane from the right (one way), bear right/straight on up Torphican St, round to right, then left at lights past the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on your left. go to 2nd set of lights and turn right, through next lights keeping in left lane. Then left at lights after new Bank of Scotland offices, then 2nd right into side street before the hotel

From the north: the M90 takes you over the Forth Road Bridge (no toll going south) stay on A 90 to multi traffic lights at Barnton. Keep straight ahead through these lights, and stay on A90, Queensferry Rd and bear right at fork, staying on A90. At roundabout go right into Queensferry Terr, through lights, road goues down and left past Menzies Hotel, follow road right and up into Douglas Gdns then into Palmerston Pl. Keep in left lane as you approach lights and go straight over, then bear left. Up Torphican St, round to right, then left at lights past the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on your left. go to 2nd set of lights and turn right, through next lights keeping in left lane. Then left at lights after new Bank of Scotland offices, then 2nd right into side street before the hotel
